    What would you do

    My trusty 10d is at a critical decision making time. From what I can tell the sensor filter is scratched. looking at the filter I can physically see the scratches as the photo shows. Up to f7 the scratches do not show. Above f7 they are noticeable the picture attached was at f22.
    Calling around the cheapest I found to replace the filter is $295.00. More than really the camera is worth.
    Guess my question is would you spend that money or is it time to retire the 10d and save for a 50d. This is my only camera I do not have a back up.
    Any thoughts suggestions appreciated.
