Practica TL3 35mm Camera ( analoge ?)

Hi Everyone
I am new to both this forum and "proper" digital photography, my technical knowledge at this moment is the ability to open a camera bag without instructions.
I had, back in the day, a Practica TL3 camera which uses ( I think) M42x1 screw lenses and wondered if anyone can suggest firstly if the old style lenses will fit and work with modern camera bodies and secondly, if this is the case, can someone suggest a camera manufacturer who produce bodies I can use these lenses on
I don't seem to see Practica in the DSL market when I looked around ?
I know this is really pushing it, if the above statements are positive, can anyone suggest a camera body I can buy that is a good starter for around the £100 mark ( $160 US)

You can get m42 adapters to fit the Olympus 4/3 bodies.
And for digital other camera bodies as well.
With two adapters you can fit old lenses to the new micro 4/3 cameras, I'm going to buy a couple of adapters today.

You won't have auto-focus as you would with a modern lens, and you will do the stop-down metering yourself.

But your budget has to get above $100 for a digital body.
Unless you get one second hand.
