Voltage Coverter
Hi Guys. I need your advice... I recently ordered a Digital Camera and i'm waiting for it to come. I'm planning a trip to Europe and my camera will need a voltage converter, since it can not use regular AA batteries. So can you please tell me some reliable voltage converter - 220V to 110V. May be some particular mark or what I should be looking for? I know that sometimes a voltage converter can harm your camera or whatever, so i'm looking for a something reliable.
Thanks for your reply.

Need more info...
Hi. You didn't say, but can we assume you need the converter for either your camera's battery charger or an AC adapter cord? Or both?
One site that has a very good conveter-adapter kit is TravelSmith:

Just type VOLTAGE in the site's search box...

Re: Need more info...
Check the fine print that no one ever reads on your charger. Most will say they accept from 110v to 240v, then you just need the cheap receptacle adapter and not a voltage converter. If you do need the voltage converter they are about $20 at radio shack; a whole set of adapters for world wide use should be less than $10. I've been to Europe a few times and never needed a voltage converter for any of my electronics including battery chargers, laptops, etc.

Re: Voltage Coverter
thank you guys. the camera i'm speaking about is Canon S410. I did some additional research, and i think i can use its battery charger in Europe too (without voltage converter). I were told that its battery charger uses power range b/n 110 - 240V, but i hope i will find out more when i receive it. hopefully i'm going to need only plug adapter
p.p. and yes, i was asking about voltage converter for the camera battery charger.
thanks again.
