Tripod?

Im thinking of buying a new tripod. The one i have isn't very good and is also covered in chocolate milk...

So im basically looking for a good but affordable tripod?
any ideas?

by affordable i mean like under £60 probly maybea little more depending.

Let's see...65GBP=131.80USD so there's quite a bit out there for you. My guess is then you will be looking at pan/tilt heads b/c a good ballhead will easily get out of that price range. You can take a look at the Bogen/Manfrotto 390RC2, which will run you approx 24GBP. The Giottos MT9251 is a great aluminum legs set which will bring you to 69GBP, very close to your budget.

I would go to a store which cater to professional photographer and see what they have in your price range, be very nice and then see what the big chain camera stores have. I bet that the professional camera store will have better tripods than the big chain stores have, and maybe even cheaper.
