    Tenba Bags?
I was recently offered a good deal on a Tenba P263 backpack. I know most people use Lowepro bags but I was wondering if any of you have heard anything about Tenba durability and strength wise. How is there reputation and all that. The bag seems to be in excellent condition and I just wanted to check up on how they are before I purchased it. If any of you have used them, voice your opinions.

    Thanks!

    Jon.

I have a Tenba laptop/camera bag, and it's built as least as well as a LowePro. A friend has a couple of theirs too, and they seem very well built. I don't know if their backpacks are as good as Lowe's based on the carrying harness design but you won't have any problems with the quality of the bag. Unless you're carrying a ton of gear for a long distance, it probably won't matter anyway.

Let us know how it works out. I think Lowepro and Tamrac are so popular because they both have excellent distribution and marketing - as well as making great bags. But there are other companies that don't get as much attention but still make great stuff. Tenba has been around a long, long time so I'm sure there stuff is good - especially if you're getting a great price :)

I got it. Loaded it all up and played around with it. Everything is perfect, and I only paid 80 bucks for it. Seems to be reallly nice quality wise, no rips, broken any thing, so thats good to see. It works perfect so far.
