    Re: printroom.com

I've been using Printroom for years and they've been great for me. I started out just using them for prints. Later I began using them for pro print fulfilllment so I don't have to handle the shipping. People find an image from an event on my Printroom account and order it directly from Printroom. I get an e-mail that an order has been made then I upload the high-res file for print. Printroom handles the printing, shipping and payment and I get a check in the mail. It's been very nice from my end.

I did recently have a problem where someone got a print that was too dark. Printroom did the reprint with no questions asked. But it has made me a little nervous and I think I need to get some tests made again to see if the printing is up to standard. I expect it was just a glitch. It has to happen every once in a while. And they did handle it very well.

    Re: printroom.com

I use them for some of my low budget wedding image fulfillment, and they do a fine job. The client is able to look at the image and do all of the shipping for me.

If I use them for other professional work, I sometimes have the images shipped to me so I can check them, and then send to the client.

Overall, I am pretty happy with them.

But, I now use Photoshelter.com. I haven't seen any images printed by them. As a gallery, and image viewer they are great. When I did a shoot for some magazines, I can upload the images to show, and they downloaded the images they needed. No email, no shipping, no mess.

    Either one will do great.

I've used them for sports related sales and have always been pleased with the service. I love the fact that I shoot and upload and then just wait for a check to come in the mail.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
