    Question Sony or Kodak?

Hey Everyone. I hope I'm at the right site for this..but here I go. I'm a 16 year old looking to buy a digital camera. I don't have a job yet, and make $30 a week allowance so I'm on a budget. I would like to spend no more then $200 if possible. I will primarily be using it to take pictures outdoors of my friends. I also want one that will take good far-away pictures at Disneyland and other amusement parks. My parents don't know much about digi cams, and neither do I so I am looking for some help! I would like one that has at lease 4.0 megapixels, a rechargeable battery, one I can hook up to my computer, one that will take good far-away and close-up daytime and nightime pictures, and a removable memory card. I was looking at the Kodak Easy Share CX7430 and the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40. I have no idea which one would be the best, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

a great place to check is dpreview.com
It compares the features of each camera with price and user reviews

One thing to consider is, do you want the camera to grow with you or do you just want to take snapshots? If you just want to take snapshots, then any old digital camera will do. If, however, you decide slightly later on that you would like to make photography a semi serious hobby, then I would get a digital camera with slightly more capabilities than just auto mode.
