Which lens will be the most suitable for landscapes, architectures, and interior works?

I have a passion for framing landscapes, architectures, and interiors, and I wish to obtain a lens that would do the job well; and the resulting images to have the potential to be used professionally and (or) to be displayed in the open.

I tried to get access to your pictures and I was asked to log on. It would be simpler if you could post some pictures here.

I do most of my landscapes and architecture on the classic 18-70 or 18-200 (assuming you're talking APS-C sensor). For interiors I sometimes need a wide wide angle. I have the Tamron 11-18 which is very satisfactory. I am an amateur but I have sold A3 size prints taken with these lenses

I picked up the Tokina 12-24mm F4 that I've been using lately.

Here is the scaled down image of a landscape that I shot using the lens @ 12mm.

BTW, I was required to resize the photos to the required resolution in here, and I think it is somewhat troublesome for me to do it.

Anyway never mind, the photos are not that important since they are just landscape, architecture, and interior type shots. Basically I want to be able to capture this three areas of photography well.

I think you all guys should have the idea of this three areas of photography by now.

Benjamin, I don't know which OS system on your computer.
But if you are running XP, then all you have to do is go to,
My Computer, go to the picture you are wanting to resize.
Right click the image and in the upper part of the window
you can click on Resize Picture. It will give you the option
of several sizes, It should resize them to 100K or less.
Maybe not the best but it works. Just wanted you to know.

A lens with at least about a 90 degree field of view in the camera format you use is one of the first important acquisitions for this type of photography. You'll want one that does not distort any more than possible depending upon your budget and camera type.

These are good for interiors, exteriors where you are limited as to vantage point for taking the photograph, and they can add a dramatic effect to the sky or other surroundings. Be sure that it has a good and full coverage hood (petal type are fine when available) as wide angles are prone to flare because of their optical construction.

One important piece of gear for this type of photography is a steady and solid tripod. You probably don't need a ball head. A 3-axial in fact is easier for this kind of photography and one with built in levels is a plus.

You will need a wide angle lens of equivalent 35mm focal length 24mm or wider but not a fish eye. Plus a good tripod. If you do paying shots a PC lens would be nice.
