Samsung Digimax i6 Converter software

Hello everybody,

Basically, this is my problem. I have just recieved a Samsung Digimax i6 for Christmas, but unfortunately my computer is having a funny turn and has decided not to recognise my CD Rom. The problem is that I can't upload the converter software that comes with the camera and as a result I can't use the PMP function (MP3 or MP4) of the camera. My question is, does anybody know where I can get a downloadable version of the Digimax Converter software? I have tried Samsung and this does not appear to work.

I'm not sure what the conversion software is for, but if it's not on Samsung's website then maybe it's something they can email. It may be to large for that.

Another solution might be an external CD drive - I have one that I picked up for next to nothing. It's a USB2 device, so that would be another way to get the program into the computer. Not sure if I'm helping...
