    resizing

    Hi all
I havent been on here in a while, I actually bought a digital camera
(yeah believe it or not) I got an XTi it's not quite as hard to learn as
I thought...my question is I have tried to find a simple way to resize pictures
I have searched & couldn't find it.........I have some old pics put on discs
from my film camera & some new ones from my XTi that I wanted to e-mail
& some I want to put on the critique board here....but everytime I try
they come out huge (alot bigger that the computer screen)
I have Paint Shop Pro X.......but I cant seem to see where to resize the pics
to e-mail them....I am sure I have overlooked it as I tend to often have
    trouble with the simplest things..............
    Thanks for your patience.................:mad2:

    Re: resizing

Hi Subhuman. In PSPX, at the top of your screen, click on "image", and then on the drop down menu, about 4 down, click "resize". You will want to change the size in "pixel dimensions". Set the highest number at 640 and the other number should change accordingly. This is the most common size for viewing on a PC. Then save it as something other than the original so you don't overwrite it, but remember what you named it and where you saved it to. This should do it. If not, holler again.

    Re: resizing

If you don't have photoshop there is a windows power toy for resizing pics, also.
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

If I counted right its the 11th one down on the right. After loading it will appear in drop down menu when you right click a pic.
