"Refer to the operating instructions found in the animation on the Detailed User Gui

I keep coming across this sentence as I try to use the features on my camcorder while looking at the DTU.
It is, "Refer to the operating instructions found in the animation on the Detailed User Guide".
I know this makes me seem completely stupid but for the life of me I can't find this animation thing.
My Camcorder is a JVC GZ-HM330

The "GUI" is the graphic user interface - that means the display on your camcorder. So evidently there's some kind of user guide that can be displayed on the LCD. Does that help?

The detailed manual is not online, but I guess it might be called "time-lapse REC" and not animation - because the features list says time-lapse REC on the JVC website?

John, I think it may have reached the maximum limit of the title length
I think gui is "guide" truncated.

G'day John, I should have spelt this out more fully.I apologise but I am in severe chronic pain and my attention span is not real good.So please don't give up on me.(just yet)
I'll have another crack at this question about this illusive animation fingamajig.
I can't see anything about this on the camcorders LCD menu.

In the Detailed User Guide on page 88 for my JVC Everio GZ-HM 330 in "Copying to Windows PC" there is a sub-heading Windows Vista / Windows 7, it says "Refer to the operating instructions found in the animation on the Detailed User Guide".
That has got me stumped.Where is this animation thing and what is it.
I can't see anything in the user guide about this animation.
Also there is an abbreviation OS in this section that I don't know that means either.

Ok. It must be talking about a user/help guide on a disc that came with your camera. There's probably flash animations you can watch within that help system. OS means Operating System (i.e. Windows 7).

The user guide, may of been on a CD or a DVD. The CD cost much less to make than printing on paper. OS stands for Operating System, which now days can be Window, Mac (which is now a Unix derivative NEXT), or Linux (a Unix clone). DOS and CPM are gone now days.
