Rebel Ti Problems, help

Well, i have a problem with my Ti, in manual mode, the camera will not let me change my aperature, all it will change is my shutter speed, like the button is stuck, and the worst part, $160 canadaian to get fixed from canon, ouch! Has anyone ever had this happen, or any suggestions?? Thanks

Hmmmm......maybe you need to spring for that EOS-3 you had planned, a little sooner than you planned on. Just a thought.
