The FD line of manual focus lenses and cameras was discontinued when the EOS range of autofocus lenses and cameras was brought out. There is no compatibility between them whatsoever. The FD linkages are all mechanical whereas the EOS ones are electronic. I had to sell all my FD gear to move to autofocus.
