    PS-CS2 RAW conversion question
I have been shooting RAW ever since I upgraded to PS-CS2. The first time I veiw my photos on the computer, I use Adobe Bridge (File-Browse). The program makes some auto corrections to my photos, such as exposure comp., shadows, contrast etc. Is there a way I can get the program NOT make any auto corrections to my photos? I can uncheck the adjustments in each photo, but I would rather view the images the way I took them, and make my adjustments based on those, and not what Adobe thinks they should look like.

What camera are you using? If it's Canon, use the File Veiwr Utility or Zoombrowser which will not change anything unless you tell them too.

I wouldn't like that either, and is just one reason I don't use PSCS

Thanks for the imput JS. I am shooting Canon, but I don't like the conversion software that came with the camera and I don't like the way Zoombrowser shows the images. You can't view RAW files as a slide show with Zoombrowser. I love the PS RAW conversion software, just not the auto ajustments.

    Try this:
    - Open any raw image with adobe camera raw, deselect "use auto adjustments" (i think Ctrl-U is the hot-key for this).
    - Now you can "save camera raw defaults", and that will be applied to every new photo. I like to keep the automatic setting in contrast, and +15 in saturation. The automatic exposure tends to make disasters in some cases...

As Norfidel said, these auto adjustments of Camera Raw can be totally disabled with
Ctrl-U. Their only reason to exist is to prevent any form of clipping before the file is opened in Photoshop.
