I just came across an old Nikon FG20 SLR camera that did not have a flash with it. I have a Vivitar Auto Thyrisistor flash model 285HV already. Would it be safe to use this flash unit with this camera? Would I be better off tracking down a Nikon Speed flash sb 18 or 19? I am pretty new to all this so I am sorry if this is a stupid question.
