please HELP

ok now heres the thing. i have a sister and today i seen her taking pictures with a camera and she looked so very happay, interested and talented. she is only nine, but i would like to buy her a camera so so so much. (i want to do something for her that nobody ever did for me) now you might not be able to understand but again you might be able to. when i was watching her, i got a sudden erge of depression. it is hard to explain, sometimes i feel i just see and feel things diferently then other people. but anyway, i want to buy her a camera really bad. i have almost no money, but want something that is NICE. somebody please help me out, what do you think i should do? i can get $60 for my xbox and maybe $100 for my guitar -> so if we say $150. would anybody have any suggestions of what i could get for 150 dollars, if not then please some more suggestions and the price i should be trying to save up to. PLEASE. somebody help me out. THank you so so very much.

First off, you could probably get 100 for your xbox on ebay, if you're old enough to sell on ebay.

I would suggest going with an entry level 35mm SLR. something like the canon rebel ti or rebel t2 will be fine, with just a kit lens. It takes film, so it's a great way to get started in photography, and I'm sure your sister will thoroughly enjoy it.

if you want to wait until I get back from camp, I will sell you my canon rebel ti and lens for a cheap price. I understand where you're coming from, and I think it's a very nice and noble thing for you to do. It's great to see families really caring about each other.

thanks for the help livin4lax. that would be really nice of you, when do you get back from camp? i would buy that one from you if you think it would be a good camera for her to start out with. yea, im 18 i think i might try to sell my xbox on eBay then, so the more i get for that the more i would be able to pay you or whoever. thanks again.
