Photo's starting to look blue...

I have a Cannon A-520. Sometimes the pics turn out blueish... I'm using Jasc Paintshop Pro 7. If I use the 'Fade correction' filter, the pic turns out ok.

Here is the before and after filter. I don't know which setting to look to fix this when taking the photo.

The A-520 has seven WB modes (Auto, Custom, and five "Pre-set"). If you are shooting with it set on Auto, that may explain the variety of results. The camera is trying to interpret the light color temp, and it may not always be right on the mark.

I'd try using one of the weather/light condition pre-sets, obviously one most closely matched to your scene's light.

actually, cameras interpret sunny day WB very well, as their AWB is most likely to recognize that temperature. What it looks like to me is that you may be shooting with a preset such as flourescent or incandescent in the bright light. ANy chance it got switched by accident?

You can see what settings you used by checking the exif information saved in the original file. If your photo editing software doesn't display that, Irfanview (free download) will.
