Photo Marketing Question

I am told it is possible to load photos to a personal website and have the host send your customer photos to them and even collect the payment from them and then send the proceeds to you once a month. Is this true? What company does this? Are they reliable? Has anyone had any experience doing this? Please advise.

Never mind. Found out some people in my camera club use Zenfolio, and I am starting with them.
