    Photo Correction

Anyone have any good tutorials or tips for photo correction (such as color)

I have some photos that are very.. blue tinted, and I'm trying to reduce that to make the picture look a bit more real.

But if you have any correction tips/tutorials for other common things that need fixing, please post them here also!

    Re: Photo Correction

This is a problem with white balance.
What photo editing program do you have?

Check to see what white balance settings your camera is on. I leave my in auto all the time and then do corrections if necessary in photoshop but then I always shoot raw.
Would be an easy fix if you shot in raw but I doubt that happened.

Here in photoshop elements 6.0 I opened your image, clicked the enhance and in the drop down went to adjust color and that drop down selected remove color cast. This gives you a window with an eye dropper instructing you to use the eye dropper on any part of the pic that should be white, black, or gray.
I clicked on part of one of the clouds that I thought should be white and got this. Probably could do more adjustments with levels but this gives you the idea.

    Re: Photo Correction

Haha well I'd have to say... adding adjustment layers in photoshop to photos is the best way to fix stuff. I lowered the blue a lot, added in some red, and a touch of green. And with photoshop actions, I can correct all of the pictures with just a click of a button see below.
