    olympus D-460 ZOOM problem
    i have a problem with my olympus d-460 zoom camera. when ever i turn it on to take a picture. a led at the top left of the camera blinks for about 30 seconds. once it stops blinking i can then take a picture.i am wondering if any of you know how i can stop the led from flashing. and take a picture right when i turn the camera on.

    Digital cameras have computers in them. Some will take longer than others to start up (boot).

    That is not normal. Your camera should be ready to shoot within a couple seconds of turning it on. How old are the batteries you're using, and have you tried different ones? Also, when was the last time you formated the Smartmedia card, and have you tried another one of those?
