    Noise when taking flying shots
I get excessive noise when taking flying shots and yes the ISO is high because of the high shutter speed, but they don't clean up as well as still shots at the same ISO I know this is a vague question, but I don't know where else to start

You might try posting a picture with the EXIF data with it. Jeff

Pictures of flying or pictures while flying?

One of he things about pictures of flying aircraft is that the background is a uniform color, which shows any noise very clearly. That might be interpreted as more noise, when in fact it's just more visible noise.

Maybe not helpful for a solution, but perhaps an explanation.

One of the software packages I've discovered is NEAT noise reduction, available here. There is a completely free version that works just fine, although it strips EXIF data from the image file.
