    Nikon N80 aperture ring help

    I have a depth of field project due soon where i have to use the widest aperture, middle aperture, and the smallest. The problem is every time i change it i always get an F EE. What can i do?

    Switch to Aperture priority (on the mode dial) and use the knurled wheel on the front of the camera (under your right finger) to set the aperture.

    The aperture ring is a legacy feature to preserve compatibility with cameras that are 10+ years old. Most Nikon lenses built in the last 5 years don't even have one. You control the aperture from the camera body.
