Nikon Coolscan V ED Scanner

Does anyone have any experience with the new Nikon Coolscan V ED Film Scanner? (It has not yet received its own listing in the Reviews section of this site.) Specifically: Is it worth the approximately $200 - $300 difference vs. the Coolscan IV? How does it compare to the Nikon film scanners with 4-digit indicators (4000, 8000)? How does it stack up against "the latest" from other manufacturers?

I posted a similar message in the viewfinder - w/ no responses yet. I'm sure it's a great piece of equipment, but like you, before I buy something, I like to get other people's opinions. Hopefully someone will help us out!
