    wide angle shot (huge pics)

I am new to digital camera. I just bought Powershot A520. I tried taking few shots but they seem to come out smaller in size (not high quality) and small in pixel size. Where these sameple images are huge.

Can some one please explain how i can take this wide angle shots with best picture quality and highest standard with this camera. like the samples below.

You need to change the resolution size of your pictures on your camera. You can set it to take different size pictures. See if that helps. Look in your manual to see how to set this. Try page 40....

    Wow...I'll say a 7GB file !! My monitor blew up.hahaha.
set to med or normal, 1967x1156 or something like that.
When I post to the gallery I post my images at 1296x870.This is the max size that will fill a normal 15" computer screen. This lets you sit back and enjoy the image at full screen, you don't need to pan slide as the image downloads. I have never seen an image that big from a point, shoot. Easy now with the mega pixel monster... hahaha

    Hi

I set my cam to max resolution and tried but still small pixel and low quality images. I will try taking some pic outside tomorrow, it could be due to low indoor light might be causing lower quality. However i am still not sure how you can take some of the shots in sample.

I had that camera and I find it's a nice point and shoot camera. But it's a 4.0 Mp camera which I don't know what's the largest resolution turns out, but it does turn out really nice pics.
