New to the Forum

Hi all

found this forum because i was looking for advice on my Olympus E300 so first posted in the Olympus cat yesterday. Everybody has been very helpful so im here to stay.

I live in London in the UK and have been playing with my camera for about 3 years now my 1st DSLR

before that had numerous small digi cameras and lots of shoot and go 35mm film cameras

a minor question i have been given a IR remote for the camera but cannot work out how to get it working even following the instructions.

It tells me to turn the main dial until i get the a message on the screen regarding the Remote im doing something wrong as thats not happening

Anyone have any idea

I look forward to posting and been given advice on some of my photos

Glad to hear - and welcome! We have quite a few members from the London area.

Is the remote an Olympus accessory? If so, you might find the best response if I moved this thread to that forum, which I can do. Can you tell us more about the remote?

Have you checked the battery or hard the battery check by another person? You just my have a dead battery.
