Important question-ASAP

Ok, so my question is this: if I get my film developed at a 1 hour photo place, can I still make prints in the photo lab? I realy need to know an answer by like tomorrow. So if anyone could help, I would greatly apprecitate it. Thanks.

Your lab, or another lab? Like a pro lab? Sure, they are negatives. The only concern with "just any old 1-hour lab" is the quality of their work. Most do fine. If you know the people running them they can approach pro quality (and some pro-labs are 1 hour) and they will be quality conscious in handling your work.

Just protect your negatives in appropriate carriers/sleeves and don't carry them around in a paper envelope as they can literally scratch each other sliding around or getting pressed against one another.

Scan or have them scanned at as high a resolution as possible if they are really important and then you have a good fairly dust and scratch free digital image to print from (most everything goes through a digital process somewhere along the line these days).

I don't see why not - they're developing the negatives, and just take the negatives to any other place to have more prints made.

I think my question was pretty much answered. The reason I needed to know is because I'm taking a photo class at my school and the film needs to be developed by Monday. The problem is that the photo lab is closed until Monday at 1pm and that is exactly when my class starts. So obviously I need to cheat a little. I was just wanting to know if I tood the film to lets say, CVS and had the pictures developed, could I then go to my photo lab on Monday and print pictures from the negatives. I would hate to get to class and for some reason this doesn't work. So thanks for your answers.

Is this black & white film by any chance? As in "real" b&w, not the color process stuff like Kodak T400CN or BW400CN, etc. If it's something like Tri-X, I've never heard of a one-hour place that can do it in-house.

and yes it is black and white, kodak t-max100. also there is a camera store nearby that also does one hour, do you think they could do it?
