Need Help with my Olympus C-770 shutter button

Hello, I have my camera nearly for 3 years and now the problem appeared with my shutter button.

I must push it very very hard to make a photo and thats exhausting. How can I repair this problem by myself, because there is no warranty left.

The other thing is that you'll be a lot more likely to shake the camera when taking a picture... I don't think it's something you can fix yourself. You could probably take it apart and fix the problem, but getting everything back together and aligned correctly is another story! I've heard of this happening a bunch of times with SLR camera lenses...

You might find a camera on e-bay. Sold for parts only and change it, but I agree with AV. Taking it apart and then putting it back together is a different story. I did a couple of google searches and can not find a button but it seems to be a common problem with this model.
