Need help choosing a camera for the holidays

    Hey guys,

I am new to the forum, I am not sure if this is the right place to post (mods feel free to move to the right location), im looking for a camera that has the following:

    1. Great picture quality
    2. User friendly
    3. Touch screen display
    4. Dual views (Front and rear)
    5. Affordable ($100-300)
    6. Design: sleek, not bulky

Please list some recommendations, your help is greatly appreciated.

I would be looking at a used Panasonic G1. You might also look at the used prices on a Olympus E-620. For new under $300.00 it will be a P&S.

Apple I phone, I pad :aureola: But you will not currently find a camera with items 3 and 4. There is one PS I saw an add for about a year ago with had Dual view but I have never seen that add again

As far as picture quality any camera now days has good picture quality but for the cheap no name cameras and any 6 mega pixel sensor size or larger should fit you needs. Just do not think you will get good photos in low light with any compact PS cameraws

Most PS will fit the bill from: Casio, Sony, Olympus, Canon, Nikon, Pentax, and more. But you will find 3x to 4x optical zooms, no larger optical zooms nor fast glass as the larger and faster lenses are bulky.

Ahh maybe without option 4 than.

    something like this:

that takes decent-good pictures, and has a touch screen display?
but i heard Nikon Coolpix's had crappy reviews for their picture quality.

Go to this link, and do a little reading: http://www.dpreview.com/

As far as "that takes decent-good pictures, and has a touch screen display?

Compared to the larger sized sensor camera they all have problems with flash coverage, and low light photos, the batteries are small due to the size of the camera the same for the flash capacitor so the flash is weak, and space for a fast lens is also lacking.
