    Memory Card Wallets
Do you use a memory card wallet to organize your memory cards?

I'm adding a couple more CF cards to my bag before an upcoming trip, and I'm looking for a good way to keep them together, and organized. I curently have 5 CF cards. I have 2 small Sandisk card cases that hold 2 cards each, and I keep the 5th card in my camera. I'm planning on adding 2 more cards to my bag before the trip, and I would like to get a case to keep them all together. I would need somthing that holds at least 6 CF cards. The only case I can find that will hold 6 CF cards is this one.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

Took a minute to figure out their website but LowePro has a couple that will work. The DMC-Z looks like a good choice for six cards.

I just have an old freebie Lexar that holds four. Not even sure what brand it is...

Thanks for the link Steve. I missed that one on the B&H site this morning, but I found it now.

I bought a no namer memory wallet that was also big enough for my DSLR batteries. I also ended up with a new camera strap from Tamrac to handlw the weight of the rig. The strap has two pockets just for memory cards.

I ended up not using the wallet for memory but just for AA batteries and DSLR batteries. The camera strap keeps my memory cards. I think it is great.

Check out Gepe Extreme cases. They are waterproof and are electrostatic protective. They come in bright colors, easier to see and thus not forget, and seem to be tanks. Lighter than my metal cases that are perhaps only more crushproof.

The Gepe cases also provide a lot of shock protection.

You know, I always wondered about that. I know flash memory cards are very resistant to mechanical shock (personal experience with dropping them...) and heard plenty of stories about them going thru the clothes washing machine, etc - attesting to the waterproofness. Other than not wanting to put a wet card into a camera, I don't really see a need for these cases.

Electrostatic shock protection is a good idea though, but I've never had a problem with it myself. Not that I'd want to wait until I did have a problem to fix it...

Thanks for all the input everyone. I have looked at the Gepe Extreme cases, but the largest one I have found, only holds 4 cards.

My main reason for looking into a case for my cards it so I can keep them all together. The extra protection is a nice bonus, but not a huge deal to me. I'm more interested in being able to open my bag, and grab one thing that has all my cards in it, and not have to search through 2 or 3 smaller cases to find all my cards. It's more of an organizational thing for me.
