    Looking for large format advice
I have been curious about shooting large format for a long time now, but I know very little about it. I would love a 4x5 view camera, but I don't have a clue where to begin research. Does anyone know of any good books, articles or websites that could get me started. I have know plans to run out and buy a large format camera, but someday I would like to try it, and would like to have some idea of what to look for and how they work.

Check out this magazine as well as this article from that site. Steve Simmons' book Using The View Camera is a good one to start with.

I shot with one once - so I don't know too much about it - but it's a whole different world. Kinda "zen and the art of photography". Make sure you've got a lab that does 4x5 sheet film, but it's probably easiest to start with a polaroid back for the instant feedback.
