    Lightweight Tripod Recommendations
    Hi there

Im going to be travelling around SE Asia and China for 6 months and am after a Tripod to take with me. Obviously weight is the key issue as I need to be travelling as light as possible, but I dont want to be taking something with me if its utterly useless. Any suggestions?
    I have a Nikon D70 with a Tamron 18-200 lense.
    Cheers

REI, had a back packer tripod, it's really a clamp with a lag bolt, I even have used it with a view camera and I still have it. But a good tripod is really hard to find if you go for light weight, as the weight is inversely proportional price for a good tripod.

Well, after testing out a few, I decided to go with an Etsumi DV-2 4 section Tripod.
It fits into my criteria of being reasonably light, small and not expensive.
My camera is a little heavy for it, but I think it will do the job until I finish my travelling and can buy a better one.
