Iso Issue?

    Iso Issue?
    Nikon D70 with 18-70mm. My ISO will only go to 500 if I use the on board flash. But when I use no flash I can go to 1600 ISO with no issues. Please help?

    Are you sure you are no talking about the shutter speed?

    I'll bet that's it - D70 is 1/500 sync speed IIRC.

    I'd have to agree, its your shutter speed you're talking about, not the ISO :)

    Using flash with that camera, 1/500 is the fastest you can go.
