    Inkjet paper reviews?

I was wondering if there is any place here to post reviews of inkjet paper. I have looked but don't seem to see any. Is this from lack of interest from viewers? I think it would be nice to hear other people's comments on their experiences printing on different media. Could we do this?

I wouldn't feel qualified to review various papers, but I would say that I use Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper and Ilford's Gallerie Smooth Gloss Paper which I buy at Sam's Club (about $23/100 sheets). Ilford claims for quality can be seen at their website. I think it's worth the savings.

Hmmmmm - there is a category but it's MIA and when I did track it down it didn't work. I would love to have people posting inkject paper reviews. Give me a little time and I'll have it working. In the meantime, why don't you tell me which papers you want to review so I can make sure they're listed.

    Thanks!

I would like to submit a review on Moab Paper Company's Entrada 190 (natural) and Kokopelli Studio Semi-Gloss. These papers rock. They are also relatively economical compared to some of Epson's (and others') products. I don't know if any of you out there have tried these, but I must recommend them whole heartedly. As a bonus, Moab Paper has downloadable ICC profiles for all their papers posted on their website (free!). (for most Epson printers and Canon i9900)

The sum of my review for Epson, not impressed. Colors on paper don't match screen.

There are monitor color profiles, printer color profiles, and printer paper profiles. I have had B&W that printed out to be RED, or BLUE on different papers. The Blue paper was some cheap glossy paper from Fry's Electronics I think CG. The Red was on Kodak paper printing sepia. I have never had problems with Mat or Plian papers there is not anything in the coatings for the ink to react to. Epson papers were made for epson printers and if the ink form HP or Canon reacts givin bad color they do not care, the same with HP or Canon paper.

Another thing was your monitor calibrated?
