Just found some film

I just stumbled across 3 rolls (24 exp ea) of Fujicolor Super HQ DXf film in a cabinet. Process date is 02-2004.....what are the chances of this film still being in good shape?

Provided they are in the original packing and have not been exposed to strong light etc
they should be ok to use.
i had some film for aprox 4-5 years and it was fine.

I have used slide film from 2001 recently in my Kiev 60 and had no problem. It's something I do all the time with this camera mainly to save money. Most photo stores will have some "expired" film in the fridge or laying around that they sell for a low price. Yours should be absolutely fine.

Should be just fine unless you left it in the trunk of your car and live in the desert, and also need absolute 100% color accuracy. I'm guessing none of these apply...

Since there is a very slight possibility of a problem, I'd never use it on something I was being paid to shoot or a once in a lifetime opportunity. But anything else, no prob.

Thanks....just what I thought. Think I'll pop a roll into the ol' Maxxum and see what develops.

I got 40 rolls from 2004! i think I'll use em up ^_^ I was always afraid they would bugger up and I would waste processing charges
