I goofed!!
I am the owner of a Pentax K 100D Super and I have been looking for a 300mm lense. I found a Tamron 70-300 F/4-5.6 with macro on ebay and got it at what I felt was a good price (less than $70 shipped). The problem is that the auction didnt list the camera mount but instead listed the model number of the lense. My lack of research before purchase has come back to bite me. The lense I purchased is a Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di with LD Macro 1:2 model A17N for NIKON AF.D not for Pentax. My question is, is there an adapter that I can purchase to use this lense on my body or would I be better off just attempting to sell this one and pick up the correct model? I dont want to attempt to return the lense to the seller due to the fact that my stupidity caused my problem and not his misrepresentation of the lense. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: I goofed!!
I do not believe there is an adapter that would give you full functionality. You're much better off selling it and getting the correct version.

I'm afraid so - selling it is your best option...
