I read somewhere before that you can use a nd filter and a circular polarizer together but that they had to go on the lens in a specific order. I plan on shooting a waterfall today but my I only have a nd2 filter was hoping to use the polarizer to help block out some of the sun.

The polarized filter might not have threads on the front and would need to go on last. Other than that, I cannot think of any reason unless it is a gradient ND. I would put the ND on first so that it doesn't spin, but can't really give you a reason why. – TF

Thanks. I actually think that the nd alone probably worked as the water was moving pretty fast. and the pool area where the pictures were taken from are kind of in a valley. Watch for photos in the critique section.
