Help with friends school project

I wonder if you can help. I am trying to find lots of material for a friends kid who's doing a small photography course at school, and he is looking to find: -

Information regarding safe working practice while undertaking photography on location or in any other environment

can anyone suggest any good places online to look?

I think its to do with things like - don't walk off a cliff while taking photos, or don't shoot photos when driving a car etc.

Uh oh, busted...

Not sure of a list of this stuff. I guess there's a lot of common sense that you have to use but maybe we can start one here. Here's mine, some learned the hard way: ;)

1. Be careful when moving around and looking thru a camera that has a really wide angle lens attached, you'll probably bump in to something. Trust me...
2. If you're shooting sports - car racing in particular - always keep an eye on what's going on around you, not just thru the lens. Have somewhere to jump out of the way!
3. Don't shoot while driving (do as I say, not as I do).
4. If you're shooting nature, know what poison ivy and poison oak look like, you don't want to touch it.

I guess the main thing is to be aware of your surroundings. That should keep you safe most of the time. Anybody else?

This is doubly true for sports like football and basketball where there is nothing to seperate you from the field of play. In almost every game, there is a player who collides with a photographer.

1. Tape down any cables and weigh down lightstands.
2. Secure any remote mounted cameras with safety straps, no exceptions.
3. Don't use high-voltage equipment near water (in water is worse).
