Help decide what to get... (Sony, Canon,..)

Hi guys,
I would like to buy a digital camera before the holidays and need some feedback as what to get.

I am looking for something decent in the $300 range. (+/- $50)

I would like to have about 5mp, a decent zoom, and maybe some advanced features for special occasions :)

The cameras I'm looking at so far are...
Sony DSC-V1
Canon S60
Canon A95

I'm kind of leaning toward Canon's A95, because it has all the features I would like to see, and the price is awesome.

Any pointers, maybe I'm not listing a camera I should be considering? Thanks.

I have used the Canon Powershot A80 a lot and it's excellent. I tried A95 some time ago, it's even better - I'd say go for it. You can't miss. Batteries last forever, the images are of great quality and it definitely doesn't feel like a toy (like some do).
