Help!

Can someone please help me! I just recieved my Nikon D80 camera and I am trying to format my memory card. Does anyone have this camera or know how to do this. I have read the instructions and done exactly what they say and it still won't let me take pictures. Thanks.:mad2:

I didn't have to format my lexar memory but if you followed directions correctly it should work.
You can try the nikon tutorial here.....I'm a big fan of it and its easier to follow than the manual.

Never had that problem, only when the camera died. Press the menu button with the camera turned on. In one of the menus you will find the format memory card entry. Use the right arrow button and press the OK button when prompted.

Yeah, that's probably easier than trying to push those buttons.
