That's when you get on a motorbike and "tear sheet" around the neighborhood.

    I actually have no idea.

    tear sheets

I shoot photos for department store advertisements, and have for 33 years. In our buisness, an art director and photographer often communicate with "tear sheets". Typically, the art director may tear "inspirational" sheets (or pages), out of fashion magazines to show to the photographer and/or stylists at a creative meeting before a photo session. A tear sheet may be shown as a lighting reference, a location example, a model look, etc. An art director with a few good tear sheets in hand can steer the photographer and stylists in the right direction, often with few words. I hope this helps.

Promo piece of your work as it was used in publication, basically. I didn't know that term was also used for "notes" like Larry mentioned. BTW, welcome Larry!

    Another View,
Thanks for the greeting. This is a nice place, and nice group of people you have here. I've learned quite a bit in here these past few weeks; maybe I can return the favor once in awhile.
