    Recommend a Small Pt-and-Shoot?

Looking for a small point-and-shoot digital camera. Should be 4-5 MP+ (6 would be real nice). The key here is compactness. It should also do video (with sound) and have a viewport so that you do not 'need' the LCD screen.

Can you recommend any in particular?

    Thanks!

the thing is.... basically every camera is a good camera, if you stick with the reputable brands. They're really all very similar, it's just small differences between each other. I'd recommend going to your local best buy and trying them out.

Every time I do my research to buy a new compact P&S I always come back to the Canon powershot line.

    I've owned the S100, S200, SD110, SD400, and now the SD700.

Thks. I may indeed have to go to a retail store and take a look. Paul, I agree that Canon makes a decent PNRer. I have one myself... can't remember which model but it is 3.2 MP. It is OK but usually only under ideal circumstances. If the light gets low then it seems to create a lot of jadgies behind the subject, like it is doing some compression or internal manipulation of the image (???). But it does have a lot of features.
