    Flash on Canon 350 D SLR
    I'm new here, so Hi, but i just have an issue with the built in flash on this canon camera that we only bought in December 2005, and not even used that much so i dont know...

    You probably all know wayyy more than i do, but anyway i will try to explain. When we use it, and it tries to autofocus, (and if necessary put the flash up) it 'tweeters' as normal as if its trying to put it up, and cant. It then comes up with an 'error 05'.

    Also, the little button at the side (to push the flash up) doesnt do it either...

    We bought it from jessops - i guess we should take it back there...

    It sounds as if you are shooting in fully automated mode. Take it off the green square! Use "P" (Program) mode or get creative with some of the more advanced modes.
