Re: Flash bracket on D70???
Some brackets don't fit all cameras. I have two - a Stroboframe Camera Flip and the new one that folds up so you can put it in your camera bag. The Camera Flip (the camera flips from horizontal to vertical, not the flash arm) is really nice to use but it only fits my F100 (not F5 or Fuji S2). The pivot bolt gets in the way - but if you can find one locally see if it will work with the D70.
The folding bracket is pretty nice just because you can stuff it into a camera bag. It's also a flat plate so you can use just about any camera on it. It's not quite as solid feeling as some of the others, but it's well made.
There are a ton of different ones out there - you might see if you can try one out at a store, or one belonging to another photographer to see if it fits and is comfortable for you.
