experience with photo book publishing?

I'm thinking that I want to do a photo book for the family for Christmas this year. Costco has a deal with MyPublisher but I've seen other places that do it (I'm sure if I keep looking I'll find more). Does anyone had any experience doing this?

Been awhile since I looked into it, but you can do it yourself with mypublisher. Compare the deal directly, anyway. I've never used one of these services, but from what I've heard the images look good but the paper the images are printed on is pretty thin.

I still am ordering thru MyPublisher but if you download thru Costco you get an extra 20% off. The power of Costco...
