    Unhappy Digital Camera Fogged

I have a Sony 4.1 Mega Pixels Cyber Shot...it used to work great all the time, now it only works like 2% of the time. When i take a picture, the picture comes out all fogged up and I've tried everything and i dont know how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Re: Digital Camera Fogged

Are there specific situations when it does and does not work? We could use more info on the problem if you have it.

If you are taking the camera outside after being in the air conditioning condensation will build up on the optics and cause that. Especially with the humidity you have down there. If you think this may be your problem try to find a way to get the camera warmed up before taking it outside.

    Re: Digital Camera Fogged

It never works. When I try to take a picture it comes up all white fogged and you can barely see the picture i was trying to take. I try playing around with the settings and it will work normal for one picture, then go back to fogging them all again. I don't know any other way to describe it...

I don't think that is the problem..I think its just the settings on my camera that are all messed up and i dont know how to fix them. For example, there's like -0.3EV, 0EV, +0.3EV and more numbers like that, then theres 7.0m, 3.0m and stuff like that for the focus...IS0 theres 400 200 100 or Auto....all these settings that I don't know what to put them on. Could that be it?

Try setting everything to automatic and go from there. You can look in the owners manual to put all settings back to default. If after that you are still having problems you may need to have the camera serviced.
