    Minolta shooters???

Anyone have experience with Minolta's 28mm 2.8?? I found one used in a local shop for $99. Thinking of using it for architecture, reviews seem mixed.

    I've used a manual focus 28mm for 3 years.

One of my all time favorite lenses. Not as wide as my favorite lens for my canon, the 20-40mm Tamron, but its a good lens that is easy to focus. Just put the focus ring at 10 feet and F22 or 16 for outdoor shots and fire away, no focusing needed.
I suggest that anyone curious about slide film try Provia 100 or 100F. Scans so well!
