Date is wrong on downloaded images????

I just looked at the date on my latest batch of pictures downloaded from my DRebel into my Canon Image Browser software. According to the exif (??) data, I took these pictures on 01/01/80.



Any way I can, at this point, restore the proper date on the images?

Kelly, what is the date set in your camera, is that the correct date? I don't know if there is much you can do about the images you have already taken, but you might be able to prevent it from happening if the camera date is reset. That is assuming that it is wrong in the first place... sorry I'm not much help.

If you google 'edit exif' you will see some programs that do it. I can't speak for them. Do it on copies of your files and then check them out thoughroghly.
