    Sony f828 aperture

I am using the sony f828, the aperture range is between 2.2 to 8.0, in some cases I need a smaller aperture, higher depth or bright light with low speed.
Is there a way to get a lower aperture in this camera?
Other solution I was thinking of is using filter, what filter recommended?

You cannot change apetures other than by changing lens.
I know of no filter that could achieve this either

No filters will help you get greater DOF, or make the lense any faster the F2.2. You are stuck with the aperture range. You may be able to install an add on wide angle lense, it would make the effective focal length shorter giving you more DOF but you may do be able to do macro photography with the add on lense.

This is one area a filter can help you. A neutral density filter will cut down on the light coming through the lens and let you use a lower shutter speed without changing the aperture.
