dark room

i just got permission to use my schools dark room thats been shut down for awhile, and ive never work with a dark room, just looking for some hints or tips or how they really work, anything would be good, thanks

Nice that they're letting you use it, but it's an involved process. Some community colleges and art museums offer classes which would be best, but there are some books out there that will help too. Check out this one, it's step-by-step.
