    complete beginner question-memory compatibility?
Hi, this is a quick, beginner question. Unfortunately I'm a complete retard when it comes to technology.

That being said, does the sandisk ultra II series of memory cards work with the Sony DSLR alpha 350? If not, what is my best option for buying removable memory for this camera? Thanks!

It might work, but we'd need to know what format the card is - Compact Flash, SD (secure digital), etc. If it physically fits, then it'll be fine.

    Compact Flash

I can't really guess if it'd fit in or not.. the width looks okay but it could be too long. I can't really tell without opening the memory package, and I don't want to do that if its not compatible.

    http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Item...tFlash8GB.aspx

This one actually. The compatibility on the site says only alpha100 and alpha700, but I'm not sure if its up to date since other sites I have looked for have advertised this same card as an alpha 350 accessory.

    Hi,

The Sony Alpha 350 uses Compact Flash Type I / II.

You can also use memory sticks with a special adapter.

Hi, yes it did say that in the manual that came with it. I just want to know if this one will physically fit in the camera. (anyone who has an alpha350, have you used it?)

That card will indeed work with your a350.
